Depois de assinar com a Curse e compor a line-up titular de League of Legends, Edward falou um pouco sobre o que motivou essa escolha.
"Leaving Gambit Gaming was a a very hard decision for me. I've been thinking about it for awhile and finally decided it was time. I'm very glad for the time I spent with these guys for almost 2 years. Leaving the team in which you played for more than a year and a half is always hard, and I feel like I lost a part of my family. Gambit changed me, changed for the better. I want to say a special thank you to two players and friends (Alex_ich and Darien). I love you guys , and of course thanks to Groove - my second dad.
Becoming a free agent, I was contacted by many different teams and it's not just America and Europe. I was a little surprised by this, but decided Team Curse was the best fit for me. I'm ready to join a new team and prove that it was the right call. The first weeks of our games will be difficult, because I haven't played with them and I have a little trouble with the English language, but eventually everything will improve and we will be a strong team."

Eu estou muito feliz pelo tempo que passei com estes caras por quase 2 anos. Quando fiquei livre, fui contactado por vários times diferentes, não apenas do NA e Europe. Fiquei um pouco surpreso com isso, mas decidi pela Curse porque foi o que melhor se encaixou comigo. Estou pronto para me juntar ao novo time e provar que foi a escolha certa. As primeiras semanas serão complicadas, porque eu não joguei muito com eles e tenho pequenos problemas com a língua inglesa, mas ocasionalmente as coisas ficarão melhores e nos seremos um time forte."UPDATE - Alex Ich falou algumas palavras sobre a mudança do Edward do Time.
"About Edward leaving our team. Well I was really sad, because we are good friends, but we need to move on. I felt that it can come, but hoped that we can solve the situation, we couldn't. We will play with our new support and hope we will achieve even greater heights. I want to wish Edward good luck with new team and hope he will continue being Support Carry. I will miss you, Big Boss Eddy."
"Sobre o Edward deixando o time. Bem eu estou muito triste, porque nos somos bons amigos, mas precisamos seguir em frente. Senti que isso ia acontecer, mas tinha esperança que iriamos resolver a situação, mas não conseguimos. Nós jogaremos com o nosso novo suporte e espero que possamos atingir patamares ainda maiores. Pois é, sempre é difícil se separar das pessoas que você se apega, mas espero grandes jogadas desse que é um dos melhores Suportes do mundo, e com certeza virá muita coisa legal pra gente ver.
